Asia’s Leading Holistic Mental Health & Addiction Treatment Thailand
Choosing where to heal is one of the most important decisions you will ever make. We want to make that decision easier for you or your loved one.
The Beekeeper House is one of the most thoroughly accredited addiction treatment and mental health treatment centres in Thailand. We hold Gold accreditation from the international body the American Accreditation Commission International and are recognised by the British Psychological Society, Healthcare Care Professionals Council, Australian Psychological Association, Australian Healthcare Practitioner Regulation Agency, and International Association of Trauma Professionals.
We are a US Department of Veterans Affairs approved provider and a Bangkok Hospital partner. Our clinical team is mostly qualified to Doctorate level or equivalent, and we maintain some of the highest standards of clinical governance of any rehab or centre in Asia. You can be confident you are receiving the best possible care.
Our Thailand rehab programmes blend evidence-based therapies including CBT, DBT, EMDR, Schema, and somatic therapy with Eastern-influenced wellness practices such as yoga, meditation, and sound baths. We do not rely on one approach. Every addiction and recovery treatment plan is built around you specifically, because we recognise that each and every one of us is unique, and we honour that in the way we work with our clients.
Our two-hectare private estate in the mountains of Chiang Mai is designed to support healing at every level. Botanical gardens, a resort-style pool, a yoga sala, a gym, and a Pilates studio create a space where you can rest, recover, and reconnect with yourself. Weekly cultural excursions into the heart of Northern Thailand are woven into the programme, because we know that restoration happens beyond the therapy room too.
Our addiction treatment team in Thailand is overseen by a qualified and highly experienced consultant Thai doctor, with 24-hour nursing care and experienced external UK and US clinical supervisors providing an additional layer of governance. You will receive a minimum of two individual therapy sessions per week, supported by daily group work and a structured programme from morning to evening.
We know that aftercare is critical to lasting recovery from addiction, and we take it seriously. Every client leaves with access to the My Beekeeper app, our bespoke aftercare platform and winner of the Healthcare Asia 2025 Technology Innovation of the Year award, providing personalised wellbeing plans, virtual check-ins, and crisis support whenever you need it.
We welcome clients travelling to Thailand for addiction treatment from the UK, Australia, the United States, and across the world. With rolling admissions, you can begin when the time is right for you. Australian clients may be eligible to fund treatment through their Superannuation, and we are recognised by Cigna, Aetna, GeoBlue, BUPA and all major insurance companies. Our team is with you every step of the way, from your very first enquiry.

We also provide specialist treatment for alcohol, drug, prescription, and behavioural addictions, including gambling, sex addiction, and compulsive buying. If you are unsure whether we can help with your specific situation, we encourage you to reach out for a free consultation.
Getting started is straightforward. Contact our admissions team at info@beekeeperhouse.com or call us on +66 90 893 5296 to arrange a free consultation. Our team will take the time to understand your needs and guide you through the admissions process. We operate rolling admissions, meaning there is no fixed intake date — you can begin your treatment journey when the time is right for you.
Our residential programme runs for a minimum of 35 days and combines evidence-based clinical therapies with holistic wellness practices. Clients receive at least two individual therapy sessions per week alongside daily group therapy, yoga, meditation, and physical training. Clinical modalities include CBT, DBT, ACT, somatic therapy, EMDR, neurofeedback, TRE, and VR therapy. Each programme is tailored to the individual, treating mind, body, and spirit rather than symptoms alone.
No. Our approach is not 12-step based. We draw on a broad range of clinical and holistic frameworks rooted in both Western psychology and Eastern philosophy. Our philosophy is compassion-founded, and we believe recovery looks different for every person. Treatment is always shaped around the individual, not a fixed model.
Aftercare is a core part of what we offer, not an optional add-on. Every client leaves with access to our My Beekeeper app, a dedicated aftercare platform developed in-house and recognised as a Technology Innovation winner at the Healthcare Asia 2025 awards. The app provides personalised wellbeing plans, virtual check-in sessions with your clinical team, and direct access to crisis contacts should you need support between appointments. It is designed to maintain the continuity of your care as you transition back into everyday life, ensuring the progress made during residential treatment is protected and built upon in the weeks and months that follow.
Our clinical team is internationally accredited and held to the highest professional standards. The Beekeeper House holds accreditation from the American Accreditation Commission International, alongside recognition from the British Psychological Society, the Health and Care Professions Council, the American Psychological Association, the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, and the International Association of Trauma Professionals, among others. Our medical care is overseen by a qualified consultant Thai doctor, supported by a dedicated nursing team available around the clock. Clinical oversight is provided by experienced external supervisors, and our Programme Quality Director ensures all treatment meets rigorous international standards. We are also an approved provider under the US Department of Veterans Affairs and a partner of Bangkok Hospital. For Australian clients, treatment may be eligible for funding through Superannuation.
Testimonials
Paul ConaghanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. An amazing place that turned my life around. I stayed at the Beekeeper in September and October 2025 after suffering burnout in London due to stress. I had two options between Thailand and South Africa but there really wasn't any hard decision to make. I can't thank the whole team that make this place tick enough and although I was nervous about spending 9 weeks away from the family I was made to feel at home right from the start. The whole team from admissions, clinical, holistic, fitness, support, kitchen and maintenance were superb and you know who you all are! The facilities were amazing with comfortable rooms, great food, super yoga & meditation space, gym, pilates studio and guests common room. The weekly excursions, hair and beauty Sundays and 12 steps meetings on a Sunday completed the journey. Now back in London I am on a 12 step programme but the Beekeeper is more of a holistic and clinical recovery centre with meetings at the weekend for those who wish to attend but it is not a 12 step recovery centre which is just what I needed. The kids have their dad back for Xmas rebuilt. I can't thank you enough, ขอบคุณ . Paul C London Dec 2025 MiloTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I spent 7 weeks at The Beekeeper, and it was a truly life-changing experience. I went there to focus on my mental health and to learn a more holistic approach to healing, and I left feeling stronger both mentally and physically. The fitness team kept me motivated, the holistic team taught me so much about balance and mindfulness, and I was able to connect with my therapist and make some real progress. The support staff, nurses, and admin team were all incredibly kind and made me feel cared for every step of the way. I’m so grateful for everything I learned and for the people who helped me along the way. Leam PoveyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Made me feel so welcomed and so at home and really supportive. Hopefully I’ll never have to come back but if I did need the same sort of help in the future I would definitely return Doody BlakeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The Beekeeper really helped me when I needed a reset and some help with the direction my life was going in. The psychologists were excellent and I learnt a lot over the 35 day stay I was there. The support and nursing staff were all very helpful and friendly. Also great food. I now understand a lot more about myself and have had a good revision course on all the tools I need in my box for life. Thailand was beautiful too, especially our visit to the elephants! I am so grateful to say that with their help I am now happy and healthy. Just two months ago I had even lost hope to the point I didn't think I would make it out. The team is a bunch of really skilled and cool people. I felt welcomed to be myself and to heal. Thanks so much for your help. And always believe in yourself, I know you can 😀💚 Alex RinckTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Beekeeper house may have saved my life. Their trauma informed approach worked wonders. The holistic team are phenomenal. I enjoyed Jiu Jitsu, sound bowl massages, going for walks through the mango fields guided meditations, sound baths. TRE was so helpful. Everyone who works at Beekeeper house is so kind. I am unsure if this is a Thai thing (Thailand being the only counrry who has not been invaded) or a Beekeeper thing. EMDR also hugely helped me. Thank you so much to Robert, Ahmed, Nut, Mel, Keith, Michelle, Palm, Terry, Nurse Orn, Pea Ter, Dom, Colin, Yam, Jajah, Tum, Affan, Caren, Fang, Jack, Aem, Nurse Yui, Nurse Kik, Ouy, Jang, Him, May, Dang, Number, Lai, Chef Harry, Pond, Chef Nueng, Boom, Pan, Song, Ink, Ta, Wann and anyone else I have forgotten. E RTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I honestly find it hard to express just how much The Beekeeper truly changed my life for the better. I was extremely nervous going into this as I had never been to Thailand before and the worry of not feeling safe/comfortable/calm was at the high end of the scale. This place exceeded all my expectations and the moment I arrived I felt content and instantly knew that I would find solace and clarity at this place. The staff and support team are unbelievably wonderful. The way each individual is dealt with differently according to their needs etc was second to none. I left feeling like a different man. I went in broken and I left as an entirely wholesome human with nothing but pride, motivation and confidence in myself that I didn’t think I had. Thankyou to all. Nurses, Therapists, housekeeping, cooks/chefs, holistic coaches, Personal Trainers, instructors. Greatest thanks x
