When you are choosing care for yourself or someone you love, credentials matter. At The Beekeeper House, our clinical standards, treatment programmes, and technology have been independently evaluated and recognised by some of the most respected bodies in international healthcare. This page sets out what those accreditations mean, and why they matter to the people in our care.
The AACI Gold standard is one of the most rigorous international benchmarks for addiction and mental health treatment facilities. Achieving Gold accreditation means our clinical protocols, care pathways, staff qualifications, and facility standards have been independently reviewed and verified against internationally recognised criteria. For clients and referring professionals, it provides independent assurance that the care delivered here meets a consistently high standard.
The Beekeeper House operates under a full medical licence issued by the Thailand Ministry of Public Health. This means we function as a regulated medical facility, not simply a wellness retreat. Our clinical team, medical protocols, and facility are subject to ongoing oversight by Thai health authorities, providing an additional layer of accountability and patient protection.
The Beekeeper House is an approved provider under the United States Department of Veterans Affairs. This recognition reflects the rigorous standards required to treat US veterans and active-duty service members, and means that eligible veterans can access our programmes using their VA benefits. It is a mark of clinical credibility recognised at the federal level in the United States.
We maintain a formal partnership with Bangkok Hospital, one of Thailand’s most respected private hospital networks. This relationship gives our clients direct access to specialist medical services, diagnostic facilities, and emergency care when required, ensuring continuity of care beyond our residential setting. For families, it means that medical escalation, when needed, is managed through a trusted and established healthcare system.
Global Health & Pharma recognises excellence across the international healthcare sector through its annual awards programme. Being named Best Holistic Mental Health & Addiction Treatment Centre in Thailand for 2026 reflects the breadth and quality of our integrated approach, combining evidence-based clinical treatment with holistic and somatic therapies across a 2-hectare therapeutic estate.
Our proprietary aftercare platform, My Beekeeper, was awarded Technology Innovation of the Year at the Healthcare Asia Awards 2025. The app supports clients through the critical transition from residential treatment back into everyday life, providing structured aftercare, ongoing connection to our clinical team, and tools to support long-term recovery. It is one of the ways we extend our care beyond discharge.
Our CEO, Robert Common, was named Behavioural Health CEO of the Year for the Asia-Pacific region at the APAC Insider Business Excellence Awards 2026. This recognition reflects his leadership in establishing The Beekeeper House as a clinically credible, internationally respected centre in a region where high-quality mental health and addiction care has historically been difficult to access.
The clinicians who work at The Beekeeper House are registered with and accountable to internationally recognised professional bodies. These registrations require practitioners to meet defined standards of training, competence, and ethical conduct, and to maintain those standards through ongoing professional development.
AHPRA is the national body responsible for regulating health practitioners across Australia. Registration with AHPRA ensures that our Australian-registered clinicians meet the professional and ethical standards required to practise, and that they remain subject to ongoing regulatory oversight.
The British Psychological Society is the representative body for psychology and psychologists in the United Kingdom. BPS membership reflects a practitioner’s commitment to evidence-based practice, continued professional development, and adherence to the society’s code of ethics and conduct.
The Health and Care Professions Council is a UK statutory regulator covering a broad range of health and care professions. HCPC registration means that a practitioner has met the council’s standards of proficiency, education, and professional conduct, and is subject to fitness to practise procedures should those standards not be upheld.
