Dr Dominika Kominkova is a UK trained Clinical psychologist, registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council, who specializes in working with people struggling with addiction and mental health difficulties.
Dominika meets clients where they are, working collaboratively with clients to tailor psychological therapy to their unique needs, empowering them to take control of their lives and supporting them to move from surviving to thriving.
In her work, Dominika draws on numerous approaches – including Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), Family therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), in which she is fully trained. She believes in the power of therapeutic relationship, trust, and a sense of safety as key aspects of psychological therapy, particularly trauma therapy, and fosters them in sessions.
