Gustavo

Gustavo is a licensed psychologist from Brazil who began his career in 2008 with an internship supporting neurodiverse children. His professional journey has since spanned a wide range of settings, from addressing psychosis and schizophrenia in mental institutions to leading corporate workshops on personality development and learning. Since establishing his private practice in 2013, Gustavo has helped individuals navigate depression, resolve conflicts, and overcome trauma and abuse.
Drawing on his studies in psychology, philosophy, neuroscience, and evolutionary biology, Gustavo has developed a trans-epistemological framework to develop autonomy and wellness in his psychotherapy practice. His approach to trauma treatment integrates the insights of body therapy researchers such as Reich, Lowen, Keleman, Gaiarsa, Levine, and Porges, allowing for a more holistic healing process.
