Clinical Team Leader
Originally from a small town in New Zealand’s South Island, Nadine brings over 20 years of diverse, international experience in addiction and mental health treatment. She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Addictions and Co-existing Disorders from Otago University, is a registered AOD practitioner and Clinical Supervisor, and is currently completing her master’s degree, focusing on trauma markers in addiction and mental health.
Nadine’s career has spanned methadone maintenance, youth offender programs, residential treatment centers, and therapeutic prison communities, where she also launched a high-security unit for men. She has held specialist roles such as Gambling and Addictions Lead at Lifeline Aotearoa, and has worked across private rehabs, NGOs, and outpatient programs in New Zealand and internationally.
Her global experience includes senior roles at DARA Rehab in Thailand and as Clinical Director of a residential center in Bali. Most recently, she worked for a Māori mental health service before joining The Beekeeper in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
With 26 years in recovery herself, Nadine is passionate about trauma-informed care and draws from a range of therapeutic approaches, including the 12-Step model, Motivational Interviewing, CBT, DBT, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Her practice is rooted in evidence-based care, innovation, and a deep commitment to improving outcomes for individuals in recovery.
